Consultancy services are provided by one of our team of autism specialist teachers.
We will set up a Service Level Agreement with your school to provide specialist teacher support for children with or without an EHCP. This usually consists of monthly or half-termly visits (other arrangements can be arranged dependent on needs). Once the SLA has been made you are assured of the regular contact and input from us to be able to support the pupil as well as possible. We offer email or phone contact between visits so that you know we are there to help with any issues that may arise between visits.
We treat every child as an individual and work to develop a good relationship with parents and carers alongside the school. The new SEND Code of practice stipulates that the class teacher has responsibility for teaching and tracking the progress of children with SEND. We work hard to come alongside class teachers, parents, teaching support staff and SENCOs to build a strong effective support system around the child.
