Autism and Early Years Training – Wednesday 22nd October, 9.30am-3pm

This will be a hands-on, practical training opportunity where we will look at communication, social interaction, self-help skills and making the curriculum accessible for autistic children.  There will be plenty of opportunities to try things and join in.

We will look at using Objects of Reference, symbols, pictures, and other ways of sharing information. Musical interaction, Intensive Interaction and multisensory stories and play will be explored and accessing lessons through music and song.

Come along and have fun whilst you learn. Suitable for anyone working with autistic children in nursery, reception or year 1 as well as those working with the developmentally young.
