Autism and Learning in the Classroom

(CPD accredited course)

Many autistic  children can thrive in a mainstream class with support that is tailored to their needs. Lynn McCann is the author of two books for teachers and an experienced specialist teacher who has worked with mainstream primary and secondary schools for many years.  We have a vast resource bank and expertise that an help autistic pupils access the curriculum in English, maths and key skills as well as other subject areas.   We will explore progression and ideas from KS1-3, examining  how we can  provide successful access to learning for our autistic pupils. On this course you will be able to build an individual learning support strategy for your autistic pupils and gain a CPD accreditation certificate.

Who is it for:   Primary and secondary SENCOs, teachers and TAs, parents and others working with autistic young people.  We welcome autistic people on our courses.  Please get in touch with us by email so we can arrange to meet your needs.
