Autism , Anxiety and Pathological Demand Avoidance
Autism, Anxiety and PDA
Anxiety is a constant companion of many autistic children and can affect their mental health. This course looks at the complex nature of anxiety in autistic children and young people and how we can support mental wellbeing. Lynn draws on her and Emma's years of supporting autistic young people in schools to share some of the realities of what contributes to anxiety. We look at teaching resources that have made a postive impact on our young people and help you make personalised plans to support the autistic children you work with.
Who is it for:
Primary, Secondary and Special school staff. Parents and other agencies who work with autistic children and young people.
