Talking about Puberty, Sex and Relationships with Autistic Children Workshop – Thursday 27th April, 6.30pm-8.30pm

£24.00

Lynn McCann will be joined by Kate Boot, an autism specialist speech and language therapist and we have a special video from Dean Beadle, an autistic speaker – both who are specialists in this tricky subject.  Lynn, Kate and Dean will talk about what approaches work best when talking about puberty, sex and relationships with autistic young people:

  • When to start talking about it
  • How to communicate the best way for your child
  • A logical and structured approach
  • How can you help them be safe
  • Helping your child navigate gender and sexual identity
  • What resources are there to help you

There will be a chance to ask questions and hear about our full CPD accredited SRE course on The Ability Bridge.

Members can access this session live or recorded as part of their existing membership.  Non-members can either pay for the session at £24 or pay £12 to access a months membership and get the session as part of that.

If you’re attending the Live workshop you will need to register on Zoom as an attendee.
