4 Autism Workshops In One Day - Sensory Diets, Pathological Demand Avoidance, Autism and Girls With A Q&A Session

Who is it for:

Primary, Secondary and Special school staff.  Parents and other agencies who work with autistic children and young people.

The day will consist of:

  • Intro:  Cristina Mylroie an autistic woman sharing some of her own story.
  • Fiona Fisher Bullivant (CAMHS, Senior Nurse Practitioner) will be sharing her insights on identifying and supporting girls on the autistic spectrum.  Fiona has recently published a book “Working with Girls and Young Women with an Autism Spectrum Condition - A Practical Guide for Clinicians” (Jessica Kingsley 2018).
  •  Lynn McCann (Reachout ASC) will be talking about Pathological      Demand Avoidance Syndrome.
  • Ruth Kiley (Occupational Therapist, Sensory Practitioner) will be talking about Sensory Integration and supporting autistic young people at home and at school.
  • Question & Answer Session.
